Multigenerational Bernedoodle

Any pairing of an F1b or later generation Bernedoodle to another Bernedoodle results in multigenerational Bernedoodles. Through genetic testing and careful consideration of both parents' traits, these multigen Bernedoodles can have a more predictable coat. Multigen Bernedoodles also allow us to produce puppies that meet our breeding goals more consistently, like a square body structure, wavy/shaggy non-shedding coat that is easier to maintain, and a mellow temperament.

Multigen Bernedoodles are well-known for their hypoallergenic coats, making them a great choice for individuals with allergies. While no dog is completely allergen-free, this generation is bred to have straight or wavy coats that typically shed very little. This means less time spent on grooming and a more comfortable, allergy-friendly home environment.

With their friendly and gentle nature, multigen Bernedoodles make excellent family pets. They love being around people and are always eager to please. Their intelligence and trainability make the training process both simple and enjoyable

A multigenerational (or multigen) Bernedoodle is produced by breeding two earlier generations, such as an F1 with an F2 or an F1b with another F1b. The genetic makeup of a multigen can vary, with traits leaning more toward one parent breed or the other. When reputable breeders carefully plan and evaluate their breeding lines, multigens typically offer the most predictability in traits like temperament, coat type, and shedding.

Furnishings refer to a dog’s coat type and are responsible for giving the Bernedoodle the beard and fluffiness like a doodle.
